- The NMVMA maintains a solid working relationship with the NM Board of Veterinary Medicine (NMBOVM)! The NMVMA has representation at all NMBOVM meetings. Likewise, the NMBOVM presents a report at all of the NMVMA Executive Board meetings.
- Relief Veterinarian List! The NMVMA keeps a list of veterinarians who are doing relief work in New Mexico.
- Communication! Members receive the NMVMA bi-monthly newsletter, the Roadrunner, an informative publication. Furthermore, NMVMA members receive a 25% discount on all advertising in the Roadrunner.
- Public Relations! The NMVMA supports a public relations effort statewide through radio, television and printed media to increase public awareness of the value of the veterinary profession.
- NMVMA Directory! This is an additional link to other veterinarians in the state as well as important contacts veterinarians need to have on hand.
- Continuing Education! The NMVMA has become an equal partner with four other state veterinary associations in creating and hosting the Southwest Veterinary Symposium. SWVS is now the premier CE venue for all veterinarians in the Southwest.
