 Telemedicine
The use of telemedicine has become an important way to protect the health of your patients and your employees. According to the NM Board of Veterinary Medicine, NM licensed veterinarians are reminded that an established valid veterinarian-client-patient relationship (VCPR) must exist when treating a patient via telemedicine/telehealth.  Licensees are advised to refer to the AVMA for its established guidelines for the use of telemedicine/telehealth. Here’s the link: https://www.avma.org/resources-tools/animal-health-and-welfare/telehealth-telemedicine-veterinary-practice

Contact CE Waiver
At the Board meeting held on October 23, 2020, the Board moved to extend the acceptance of all continuing education hours online/virtually through December 31, 2021.
